Im not saying you are wrong on bad calls. There is hardly no such thing as a perfect game for referees. So we learn to deal with it but that penalty alone costed the Islanders the game which is pretty hard to forgive.
@GoPensGo26 What about the fact that Orpik didn’t get a penalty in the first period? He was just as responsible as the players who went in the box and your criticizing Comeau? lol. As much as I hate Comeau he did good by stealing the puck from Fleury but failed miserably on that open net.

Regardless. If ur going to point out Okposo’s penalty u should prob say something about Fleury clearly tripping the islander wen he stole the puck and had a wide open wrap around but fleury threw his leg out to trip him which worked. there are always bad penatly calls in a game and calls that should be made which are not.
@GoPensGo26 He wasn’t way out of the crease. He was just in the crease from what I saw and Cooke’s screen got a little too close with Nabokov and interfered with him. Our PP is bad also
The refs were ready to break up the fight because they were right there. They didnt expect Gillies to retaliate after his hit on Tangradi.
look at how quickly the refs jump in there wen MacDonald went down. Tangradi got punched 10 times before neone came around and it wasnt the refs.

ur going to tell me that ur goalie being way out of the crease and cookie barely touching them cancels staals goal. the way i see it, take away staals goal at least give us a PP. and we scored. our PP is garbage for the most part neways. isles fault for not killing it off.
@GoPensGo26 Yesterday’s game you guys got lucky. Okposo was pushed into the net and you guys got a power play and scored. If there were fair referees we would have won that game 2-1.

they beat the pens 1 game out of a 82 game season. the pens made it to the playoffs while the isles made it to the golf course….dont worry pens 2-0 against the isles this season already. always nice to have some guaranteed wins during the season right?
